Revanna is famous as H D Deve Gowda's son, but he is a clever politician in his own right.

Yesterday, he was busy using milk vans to supply water at a construction site. He's reportedly building a house, and did not hesitate to send some Nandini tankers to fetch water. As chairman of the Karnataka Milk Federation, he has access to hundreds of tankers, you see.

One of the tankers got stuck in the slush and disrupted traffic in busy Basavangudi, which is when it caught the attention of neighbours and passers-by. Revanna reportedly screamed at policemen who wanted to clear the jam.

Politicians get away with the gravest of crimes, but get caught for something petty! Compared to what Revanna might have done as public works minister, misusing a milk tanker is nothing. Isn't it ironic that the public glare should fall on his misdeeds only now!
